I'm a National Trust member but their action in closing this shop is disgraceful.

More proof of the disgraceful profiteering of the NT on the North Coast. They ran a golf course development out of town that would have created jobs, dishonest on accessing the stone for free whilst charging fortunes for parking and over priced tat in their official shops.

National Trust should be ashamed. Putting local people out of business is disgraceful.

This shop is a gem and should not be closed. A huge tourist favourite. So few like this left in the country.

Yet again NT show themselves up for what they are. A money spinner. Putting locals out of business who have been there 70 plus years is never good.
Shame on you !! Save this shop and build your toilets elsewhere.

If the National Trust has any respect for history then the shop should remain.

These people can provide more history and genuine background than any quasi government waste if space and with a real enthusiasm not generally found in a minimum wage employee. Shame on you.
