I first visited the Giants Causeway some 55 years ago. It’s natural surroundings added to the experience. It wasn’t over run with tourists either. Now the NT has turned it into an artificial attraction. The only original aspect is McConaghies tourist shop and the stones themselves. Let’s keep the second oldest part of the attraction. There are already toilets in the visitors centre.

This is nothing short of big business bullying the small independents.

Keep this local shop-there is no need for the "trust" to take this over and make even more money from the unsuspecting people who need the toilet.

Please don’t let the National Trust oust the last of the local families from the place they’ve historically inhabited.

I am a NT member and most definitely do not agree with the action they are taking. They are supposed to encourage and support local business!
