Mayo’s is probably THE LAST place that needs to be taken away from this town!
One of the few family-owned and operated businesses left in our city, it NEEDS to be PRESERVED.
Mayo’s survived last year’s crisis by putting their servers to work delivering home-cooked meals to hundreds of shut-ins in Chattanooga. My family included.
It REGULARLY holds BENEFITS for St. Jude, Epilepsy Foundation, Breast Cancer/Mary Ellen Locher, and Partnership Domestic Abuse Services, as well as MANY OTHERS.
This family is not only open-hearted to EVERY individual that walks thru their doors, they LOVE and SUPPORT this community.
And this ESTABLISHMENT has been, and IS, part of the HEART of Chattanooga.
Chattanooga Politico needs to listen to its CITIZENS, it’s VOTERS, and STOP trying to change our city into a mirrored-image town that’s only for tourists and bigger-money investors.
WE LOVE, NEED, and SUPPORT OUR LOCAL, FAMILY OWNED ESTABLISHMENTS AND WANT TO KEEP THEM THAT WAY.

Mayor Kelly I’ve known you since my days at CGCC, my son Jerry Lackey was your collision mgr before you sold your dealership. All that having been said you are good person and I know you want what’s best for all concerned. The Mayo’s are some of the finest people you’ll ever meet, it’s unfair to hold up the needed permits for them make necessary repairs to their livelihood. In all honesty there are quite a few buildings in this city that need more repairs and none of them have been targeted makes people wonder if this goes back to Ron Littlefields days when he clashed with Pat Mayo, who we miss everyday, because he didn’t like the bar at the bottom of the hill he lived on. Please help rectify this situation and show the city how compassionate you are towards the citizens you have taken an oath to protect and support. Thank you.

Mayos is an integral part of the Chattanooga music scene. The city needs places like Mayos to keep the soup of the city alive. I’m sure the city can work with the owners to keep this landmark alive and well.

Mayo's is a family owned and run institution in Chattanooga. We've list so many. Please not another one. Don't let big money or politics deprive us of a great venue for music, food and meeting friends. Step up Chattanooga!!

Mike and I spent many hours here when we lived in Brainerd Pat Mayo was like a Dad and Great Friend to us. Prayers going up for Mayos to be saved and hoping they can reopen.
