Success does not happen alone, it involves a large network of supports and Maria was one of them for me. As a senior at Syracuse University, I can blame my success on PS. 111 and the staff there. I would not be the individual that I am today if it weren’t for Maria and she has continued to impact the lives of many students at PS. 111 and she has the right to continue to do so. Please save her job so that she can continue to uplift the people around her.

In this political climate that we are in, it is vital to keep our positive Latin role models present in our children’s lives. I’m no longer an active parent at 111 but I would hate to see someone who has dedicated over 30 years of service let go due to some type of budget issue. Let’s keep the people who love their jobs employed and safe. Let’s keep these kids surrounded with love and encouragement.

She raised me !! She definitely deserves to keep working at PS 111. She’s a hard worker and she’s taken care of 20 generations of kids, she’s great !
