It's my second year at PS 111 as social worker on team that plans special education services and other supports. Maria is key to our school community! She is creative, caring, encouraging, resourceful and thoughtful! She helps children and adults develop these strengths and confidence! 111 needs more people like Maria, especially to assist our families in temporary housing.

Heart breaking to hear ppl have to help her fight for her job when her work has always spoken for itself with her high energy and great personality. I was one to grow up on her watch and have nothing but good memories of her so I’m shocked to see it come to this
