The momentum surrounding our effort to protect the coastline continues to grow as we approach one hundred signatures. Please take a moment to forward this petition to others who value the preservation of our mangroves and sea grass. We must ensure our position remains clear before the board addresses these amendments.

Stop this destruction of nature the way it was given to us!! Seagrasses and mangroves protect sealife and shorelines that the Florida economy depends on!
Our coastlines need to be protected. Mangroves and sea grasses are valuable assets in the coastal habitat that need to be preserved. Please act now and stop any amendment or action that will lead to their destruction.
I have been against the Long Bar development from the beginning.. It can only do damage to all the life that thrives in this precious piece of our coastline!
Enough. I was at the meeting about a year ago and listened to our commisioners thumbs down the dredging idea after hearing countless citizens stand up and voice their opposition. So enough. No dredging.
Your decisions today affect Floridians forever. Natural Florida is irreplaceable.
