Having used Malahide Castle Park for many decades now it would be a travesty to see it being over-commercialised. Some parking areas in the Malahide Marina village which were privatised and are not available even to the residents of the complex should be made available to the public and would help solve parking problems. Amazing the way parking has become such a priority - what happened to cycle ways etc which have been promised over the years? Any moves on those??

Malahide castle & grounds are what make Malahide special. I object to the proposed development of Malahide Castle Woodlands as a Forest Adventure area and the Bridge Field as a further extension to a Car and Coach Park. The proposed use of the Woodlands will affect the tranquility and peace of this Natural Woodland will be lost to the public for ever.

Please save the Malahide Castle area. It's a really lovely place and I would love to visit there again and see the whole park this time. It's amazing place for tourists - believe me! Kind regards from Finland.

I totally disagree with this plan and believe it should be kept as it is the castle needs to be saved not made into a concrete jungle there's loads of parking in the Castle and plenty for coaches already

I hope that this petition shows how the Malahide people feel about this proposal. We need safe, beautiful areas to walk. There are plenty of other areas in North County Dublin where this Forest Adventure area could be built and I hope the council do the right thing and listen to the people of Malahide.

I spent many days having unplanned adventures running through the woods. That type of rambling and creative play should be kept sacred for all ...not developed into areas to be used by smaller numbers who can pay!

Leave this beautiful public space as is.. Fingal do not need to capitalise on every bit of public space in & around the village. Also as a council you should be promoting healthy living & exercise so therefore putting an extended car park in a much used & enjoyed field is clearly going against this ethos. Shame on you Fingal county council for trying to push this application yet again despite the first application being refused.
