Green spaces are important to the community and environment. Green spaces should not be demolished or endangered for commercial gain. The Talbot family gave Malahide castle and gardens to the people to be enjoyed not destroyed.

There are enough businesses operating out of the castle already. I think the green space and woodland remaining should be preserved for local enjoyment.

Commercial interests should never be part of this wonderful leisure amenity - the proposed forest adventure area would endanger the natural habitat, cause noise and damage in what is one of the most tranquil areas of the park.

The castle and grounds where given to the people of Malahide to use and we do use it to its full optional on a daily basis.

I am opposed to the plans to take away playing fields to replace it with a car park. Commercialising what is already a wonderful woodland to play in is unacceptable in such a small park in my opinion.
