A Country that destroys its Woodlands destroys itself.
Woodland are the lungs of our country, they purify the air and provide us with fresh air.
They are sanctuaries for Birds, Animals and Insects.
We are custodians of these Woods for future generations and for our Planet.
It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government/council to save the woods in Malahide!

I am in favour of making Malahide Castle and demesne more interesting for children and adults, but I am against the engagement of private firms to close off part of the grounds and profit by charging for access.

Leave the trees alone & in their natural environment. There is enough cars already in the park zooming up & down to Avoca & enough car parking facilities. Soon half the park will be a car park!
