Close the Council and County Council Offices to make more sense as they are both good brown field sites too expensive to maintain and full of hot air and idiots.

The people of Maidstone need their concerns heard, we are becoming overcrowded at an alarming rate and the traffic is a nightmare even after all the money spent on the one way system- over 300 flats are being built on the opposite side of the road to the barraks- enough is enough!

Maidstone needs the barracks to stay as it has historical ties with the town.
The building of new homes on this site would be a disaster for the town, as Maidstone is already overcrowded and pollution is at a high and will only get worse if new houses are built. Out of town houses are needed more than in town

We mustn't let this base close. It is purely for financial reasons, which is all this govnmt cares about. With an extra 1300 homes here, it will make an already crowded Maidstone/Medway area even worse. The is barely room to get around now let alone with the council intent on building more and more houses just to gain extra council tax revenue.

The fact that the decision for the closure of this barrack is not based on the army's needs but financial gains from housing developers angers me.

The Invicta Barracks is an integral part of the community of Maidstone and adds to the rich tapestry of life in the town. To close it down not only destroys part of Maidstone and it's great history but continues the gradual disassociation of the county of Kent from its proud military history.

Inappropriate redevelopment Maidstone is dying under the quantity of traffic now and we have a proud military association over many generations traditions and quality of life surely count for something . Perhaps these faceless individuals just don't care about the people of Maidstone.

I used to work there years ago as a civilian contractor imployee. The Baracks is important not just for the military community, but the local one as well.

I served at the barracks 1965 -1974, It was a pleasure to serve in such a surrounding for an Army barracks.
Invicta Park is an icon of Maidstone and to disolve it is to take away another part of the town! , take too much away and you have ....nothing!!!
