The Gurkhas are a close knit community who contribute a great deal to Maidstone. I have experience of their generosity at fundraising events giving time and skill.

It is a privilege to have these brave Gurkha peoples as part of our community; we benefit from their cheerful personalities and smiles.

I think it would be a great shame if this decision is carried out

It is wrong to 'turf out' the Gurkhas when one thinks what sacrifices those people have done in the name of this country

These fine soldiers are a credit to their country and ours. We are proud to have them in Maidstone.

Another excuse for the government to utilise a large amount of ground ,and sell off for housing, more population, more crammed roadways, more crime.

Not all traditions are bad . The closure would be bad for Maidstone and the UK.

Maidstone is gridlocked. The barracks are historic. Stop destroying Maidstone of old.

Good luck in saving Maidstone Barracks....The MOD should be improving barracks not selling them off for housing estates..
