Best space in town for kids and it will be moved? Don't do it!

As grandparents, we feel strongly that the park should remain where it is. Why can't the new houses incorporate a city park for babies in their midst?

This ill-conceived development plan is a travesty that doesn't hold up to the least bit of scrutiny. Very hard to believe that any "Parks" Department would be a party to it. What were they thinking?

But shouldn't! We pay bonds for our parks for a reason, to enjoy them.

My sons use this park often. I will not feel they are safe to play at the proposed new park location. The development should not be at the expense of our children's safe play and enjoyment of the existing park. PLEASE VOTE NO ON MOVING THE PARK.

There are other ways to accommodate the new housing units without losing the serenity of the park by moving it.

putting a tot lot at a busy intersection, especially in light of the recent auto/pedestrians accidents in crosswalks at busy intersections, is criminal

The proposed swap is a terrible idea. Half the property in exchange for more noise, less safety, no forest, and no shade.

The proposed move seemed to be more to serve the developer than to benefit the families using the tot lot. Their needs come before those of a developer.
