Most certainly use brown field site for development. We also need to consider the health of the existing public in Macclesfield as the nitrogen dioxide fumes on London road, Hibel road and Oxford road are on many occasions above the national guidelines. More traffic is proposed from South Macclesfield development area past the college cross roads at the Flower Pot and past All Hallows school. IS this right? Would not a bypass be the answer to this as it was planned in 1947 and again in 1990? so why not in 2016?

There is no need to use green belt land there are sufficient brown field sites. Area between Parsonage Street and Park Lane is a good example. The council are being dictated to by the developers . The town centre needs developing first, as there are insufficient shops to attract people to the town, lost its character. Congleton, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow are much more attractive.

No need. Just a money making scheme for the local authority!! Save the green belt use some brown land instead plenty of it!!

I fully support the save Macclesfield greeenbelt organisation.the proposed plans would be devastating to our surrounding countryside.

Our beautiful England must not be spoilt any more there are lots of areasto buid on and leave green belt alone in MACCLESFIELD

the council has no mandate to allow building on green belt.Why do they not ask themselves why they like living in a rural small town and not in a densly populated conurbation ? or do they simply not care !.

Council could sort traffic chaos out at congleton road/moss lane before causing any more traffic hold ups with extra housing problems.
