My son was going to start Rainbow preschool in September. My other son is going to hip-hop classes in community hall and was going to joint scouts there. There will be no christmas fair.
When those buildings are sold what will be left?

taking these little bulidings is taking the heart out of the community. they are beautiful old buildings and need to be saved and not replaced by hideous modern buildings.

Community halls and centers such as this are a vital lifeline to many people within a community and it's essential that it stays that way.

Selling off such a wonderful Community asset for short term gain is an appauling act. The Scouts and other community Groups who use this facility should be given a home here. Where will they go if they are denied the use of these facilities. Will they simply cease to exist thereby impoverishing the community? Hopefully sense will prevail and the life of the community will be strengthened by the presence of community groups in the heart of the community.

Hard to believe that such a well used community hub would be even considered for closure. This is just wrong.

This is not the churches property to sell, it was paid for by the community, give it back to them

Not only is the playschool fantastic and run by fantastic people, and activities that take place in the community hall invaluable to the people that use it, it is also important for the community as it keeps this an active community with thriving young population. Less activities for young people will easily lead to anti-social behaviour. We area nice village with Play school, primary school and secondary school with after school activities taking place for young and old. Children and adults get to know each other well through these activities. Losing these facilities is not just a loss of 2 buildings, it's the loss of community spirit we have nurtured and enjoyed. with no community hall, there could be more anti-social behavior. With no playschool, kids will start school outside the village, and that will leave to bleeding of population up to secondary school as well.
