Summer in the city! Festivals end at 11 pm, which is too early. Please don't let the nay-sayers kill the arts and enjoyment in the downtown core!

Music festivals anywhere are an exciting thing. They bring in loads of money to the town/city that they are in and provide fantastic entertainment for the summer months. Is it really that horrible to let people to enjoy themselves once in a while. It's not like the festivals run all night long or for months or years at a time. There are way too many people that complain about everything and ruin entertainment for a lot more people that do enjoy live entertainment. Keep the festivals going strong!

I Was Born & raised in the City of London and loved the Music Fest . From the Rock the Park to the Folk festival . I have been in the Music biz since I Left The city of London Working with Record Company's and Bands All over the Country and the World . I have a Number of Artist In the Blues and Jazz music world . You have a Great City of Blues and Jazz Lovers and to not Have this Music provided to the city sends Money to other city's . And closes the door on New and older Artist a place to Play to there Fans . Do close the Door on Great Music and Money for your Biz in the Down town core ? Seriously, its bad enough that the majority of this city doesn't dance at concerts but at least let the ppl who know how to have a good time do!

blues, - it is important, music is important, music is a gift, a way to relax, unwind, close your eyes. I look so forward to this event. Its not the music, its the aftermath of the people yelling and screaming (I believe ) these complainers roll US into ONE ball. :) Peace

London, ON needs its festivals and Victoria Park has been the main (and key) location for people to come together and have a great time over the summer.

Absolutely ridiculous, that City Council would do something to curb festivals. Do they not understand the economic benefits?? My son in high school certainly does!! He's available to explain if needed. I would think that those who move downtown are there for the hustle and bustle and not to seek a nice quiet atmosphere. We should put more focus are addressing the appalling drug use and riff raff that seem to be taking over our downtown core and welcoming those who want to have a good time and spend money!!

Outdoor festivals are also a source of income for charities. The Brandon Prust Foundation which supports children with cancer will benefit from funds raised at Rock the Park. Take away these events and you are taking away financial help to those who desperately need it.

There are always a few aggressively vocal people who feel they're more important than the majority who just want to have a bit of fun & support artists & local businesses. We need to speak LOUDLY!!!

Festivals are a must. 100ft to monitor is too close.....make a change to the by-law DONT increase fines. Everyone work together to come up with a solution

I Volunteered for over 40 years with mostly outdoor events here in London, it did not seem to be an issue regarding noise levels ,because most of the events were over at or by 12.P.M. The local bar scene with an outdoor patio and music can also be noisy and intrusive to near by neighborhoods as well .The owners of those establishments hardly ever get or never fined for their noises or even damages caused from patrons after even 10 P,M. These events help the community and promote good family events as well. This community needs good events in order to stimulate the economy and growth. NOT fines or even told never again... This is bad for all.. open communication between all parties SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEGED

This city builds more and more residential structures to attract people, but keeps making idiotic decisions on infrastructure and bylaws whick keeps out the very people it drives to attract.

I love coming to London for the music and other festivals. The blues is a big draw to the city and it's vendors. It would be a shame to lose it.
