Denbighshire Local Planning Authority has already caved in to Sainsbury's over a condition to prevent them operating an in-store butchers and an in-store delicatessen. Now Sainsbury's want the LPA to overturn other restrictions, such as no in-store cafe and many others. These conditions were designed to protect our High Street traders, and now Sainsbury's has shown its true, predatory colours in appealing against these restrictions.
Please join us in opposing Sainsbury's and protect our town and high street. We only have 21 days from now to influence the LPA.
ive been spending these past few days digging into the council rules so i can figure out exactly how we pin them down on these conditions. its clear they think we wont notice them chipping away at our high street bit by bit but they are wrong. thanks for keeping the pressure up because it really is the only way we stop them.

im honestly blown away by how many people are stepping up to defend our high street shops. the momentum is real and it shows how much everyone cares about keeping our town unique instead of just letting big chains take over.

PROTECT OUR TOWN. Sainsbury's is greedy and they have plenty of money. They dont need to kill off our local deli and butchers.

Keep the high street alive. We dont need another big chain cafe taking money away from the local businesses that have been here for years. Enough is enough.

Ridiculous. They agreed to the conditions now they want to back out? Denbighshire council needs to grow a backbone and say no.
