The law is finally changing and the limit is being lowered. It was a long road to get here but we did what we set out to do. Stay alert to ensure these new standards are actually enforced.
The term "legally drunk" needs to be abolished. Every 51 minutes, someone loses their life to drunk driving. There are over 300,000 incidents, involving drunk driving a day. Please help us lowering the drinking limit, to help put an end to drunk driving!
Our goal is not to put an end to drinking but to teach people to do so responsibly.
The days feel long and the opposition is loud but we are nearing 5,000 signatures. Push this out to your contacts now so we can force them to pay attention to these lives lost.

The exhaustion is setting in but I refuse to stop while these tragedies continue happening every hour. We are approaching a thousand signatures and that threshold is the only way we force them to acknowledge our reality. Please get this in front of others because we need that weight behind us before we bring this forward.

The days have been long and progress is slow but we are within reach of one hundred signatures. Please send this link to a few people today so we can finally break through this wall.

I was hit by a drunk driver and survived with minimal injury but not everyone is so lucky iv had friends kill themselves because a family member was hit by someone who had been drinking the pain of their loss drove them to that it's a never ending cycle

Drunk driving is a CRIME! It is potential murder and should be penalized as such. I'm so sorry about Liam and many more people who lost a loved one due to drunk drivers.
I hope there's more I could do.

Antonio

Retired cop of 32 years. Stopped drinking 18 years ago and even then drank rarely. Drinking never helped anyone and has caused so much hell for most...it has always been the cure to and the cause of all the life's problem.

We need to change our LAWS! DRINKING AND DRIVING CHANGES THE LIVES OF THOSE WHO LOSE SOMEONE TO AN IDIOT WHO DECIDES TO DRINK.
THEY SHOULDN'T GET A LESS SENTENCE OR A SLAP ON THE RIST. WHILE THE FAMILY THAT BURIES THERE LOVED ONE HAS TO LIVE WITH THE PAIN FOREVER.

I was in a hit and run car crash involving a drunk driver who was drunk and literally walked away from the scene. Fortunately, I made it out alive with an injury to my head...but I do know many ppl don't get to live and tell their story.

I live In Wisconsin and our laws are far too lenient. As a mother, my heart breaks for you Marcus and Mishel. Thank you for fighting this fight and help to bring awareness to the indignity of driving after alcohol consumption.
