Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

Very happy to sign this petition, clearly something needs to be done about it. I've seen countless people doing u turns along it and it's clearly too fast and busy a road to carry on without a central reservation. Can I suggest though, that Cornwall Council should be one of the recipients of this petition as it obviously has an interest. But the A30 is a trunk road, and under the jurisdiction of the government through Highways England. So the petition should be sent to the areas MPs (half of the Hayle bypass is in the St Ives Constituency and the other half in Camborne, Redruth and Hayle) so both Derek Thomas and George Eustice and perhaps the Transport Minister Chris Grayling. A barrier should have been put up years ago, right up to the big dipper.

I had someone do a u turn two cars in front of me! I managed to swerve but the car in front hit them side on! Fortunately no was killed! Something needs to be done!

Needs doing asap and dual carriageway the whole thing

Barriers would stop traffic being allowed to cross onto opposite side of road, lots of people say they are confused by where they can overtake

I have been scared by some very stupid drivers on this stretch of road something needs to be done.

Some of the driving on this stretch of road is so dangerous. It should have been a dual carriageway. Anything will do for Cornwall!!

I've said this for years. Need it all the way along that road, starting from Loggans roundabout.

This would be life saving

I myself have witnessed an accident on the Hayle bypass (closer to the Lelant roundabout end) a near head on collission, which could of been avoided had there of been a central reservation. This road is dangerous in it's current state.

This needs to happen.

Anything to save lives and to stop this terrible thing happening again!
