Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

The by-pass is a dangerous road, with many driving much too fast. Why was it built without central reservation or barriers?

I've seen many people doing u turns on this road even days after a bikers been killed because of someone doing a u turn as a biker myself I'm quite nervous to ride this road

Hi Casey Good luck with the petition. I think a central reservation is a must, this stretch of the A30 has caused many heartaches, injurys and not to mention deaths. The exact same thing happened to Simon on his motorbike coming home from work one night. He was flung from the bike into the oncoming traffic and ended up with injuries that needs operations. I hope your grandparents get better soon. Sam xx

This has to happen. This stretch of road and the roseworthy dip further up the A30 are death traps. Particularly when accidents are caused mainly by the speed cameras

This is such a simple solution and really needs to be done as soon as possible

To many deaths and accidents have happened on this road due to people crossing over into the other side of the road to overtake or to make a u-turn

This happens all too often and when it's a motorbike caught up in the accident the outcome is even more likely to end in fatalities.

Im sorry to hear this sad news. This was a cheap road fix just like Roseworthy dip. It should have been 4 lanes with a central reservation with barriers. They had the space to do it. 3 lane bypasses are lethal. The section of A30 from Camborne to Long Rock is totally inadequate was a short sighted under funded project.

A very dangerous part of the A30 with people travelling far too fast as well as idiots trying to u turn to avoid traffic queues. Something needs to be done!

I to agree that barriers should be installed, I stumbled across the scene of a serious motor cycle crash there, I won't go into detail as not to drag up painful memories for the family members of those involved, but it was a fatality, so please do put barriers up as I myself never feel safe driving this stretch of road.
