Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

I can not understand why a barrier has not been erected. I'm lucky that my boyfriend came home alive after a car performed a U turn and knocked him off his motorbike last week. The next biker might not be so lucky.

Please find a solution, it is a horrible stretch of road!

Something has to be done now.

This needs to happen.

I have lived in Hayle for 6 years - The number of incidents / accidents / deaths on both the Hayle bypass as well as the section between Loggans and Camborne West is truly shocking! - I know of a firefighter (who was off duty at the time) pulling a person from a crashed car on the bypass (yet another u-turn incident) and not being able to save the person in question due to catastrophic injuries - The road is known by some locally as 'The Killing Fields' and quite simply nothing is ever done, nothing has changed which is a complete and total disgrace! - Why is nothing being done? - Is a barrier really that difficult?

They should act quickly to stop this happening again.

We use this road a lot and it is getting worse, even in the dead of winter you see idiotic dangerous driving so summertime just trebles the danger and long delays,wish you all the luck for getting a solution.

It's about time something was done to prevent this and fatalities caused by u turns on this road...

Local to this stretch of road. Too Many motorcyclist injured due to u turns on this stretch.

It only takes one idiot to cause mayhem, and the world has many idiots. It is a dangerous road because it invites speed.

I've been saying this for years!

I witnessed 5 people doing u-turns last Thursday on this stretch of road, the 5th pulled out in front of a motorcycle ... his bike was trashed and he landed on the opposite side of the road ... make a central reservation please

Should of happend a long time ago, Shame it's also locals doing U turns also, Should no better.

Unfortunately, temporary yellow A-frame don't seem to bee doing the job. Another solution to drivers performing U-turns on this stretch of road must be found before somebody else is killed.

This is vital, this road has taken far too many lives already ! I have driven down this carriage way and artic lorries have over taken cars on my side of the road! This Barrier has to happen and I can not believe it has not already been done !
