Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

Excellent idea Casey, I totally agree something has to be done.

This is a must,to many accidents along this road.

Something really does need to change, it is a dangerous situation that can easily be remedied.

So many people do dangerous u turns on this stretch of road, it needs to be stopped!

This couple are great friends of mine. Unless you have seen them and seen with your own eyes the suffering they endured you have no idea how badly they were injured . They are lucky to be alive. This has happened in this exact spot quite a few times. It's obviously a black spot and needs to be addressed ASAP. A man in his 80's has just lost his life in the same spot. Very very wrong.

I have seen some terrible drivers on this road, so would welcome barriers on this road.

there are some really dangerous drivers on the road who should never have passed their driving test.

I've seen people U-Turn of this stretch of road many times and thought that they were lucky nobody was being moving down the road the other way, others have not been as fortunate, something needs to be done the signs aren't enough!

Long overdue.

The cost of lives far outweighs the cost of barriers

I love Cornwall, it's my wish to move there one day. I make sure I visit at least once a year for the last 48 years. My dad has a bench in Mousehole and we scattered his ashes there to 16 years ago. Always thought there should be a barrier as there are too many drivers think they can take silly chances. Hope you win your fight for barriers, GOOD LUCK x

Educating drivers clearly isn't working. Prevention of U turns on this road is the only option left.

This part of our bypass desperately needs a barrier , it should always have had a central barrier from the start of its opening, it's always dangerous & is such a risk to everybody's life's ! Please please make this change before theirs many more life's lost on this stretch of bypass .

During half term when I was travelling east bound along this road with my husband and three boys I had 3 cars coming in the opposite direction do U turns in front of me! The 3ed car did it just before I got to the roundabout and I had to do an emergency stop in order for it to do a 4 point turn ( it was too big to dog 3 point turn!) The people who then had pulled out in front of me then tried to drive through Hayle and blocked the end of the bypass so I the couldn't pull out to continue on my journey eastbound. Absolutely horrendous road....something needs to change!

Please consider this propsal. I see people doing U turns on a weekly basis on this road. It is so dangerous to do so. Please Please put up a central reservation.
