Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

I agree that there should be a barrier of some sort but surely the A30 is the reposnsibillty of the Highways Agency?

That bypass is lethal. I've lived in Copperhouse end of Hayle 14yrs and there are deaths every year and multiple accidents....these are preventable

Hopefully Cornwall Council will listen and stop more people from getting hurt.

Good on you, hope this gets plenty of publicity. Too many idiots guilty of doing dangerous u turns on these roads. Education isn't the answer, the road authorities and council need to act to combat this practice.

This is an absolute must for this road, too many lives already taken. Lack of money should never be a reason for this not to happen.

A central reservation barrier would stop people from doing "u" turns, therefore making sure that cars/vehicles would nor attempts this dangerous manoeuvre.

There have been some terrible accidents on this stretch of road

I see to many near misses on this section of road as well as the fatal hits! Sort it out

Its happening too often and I saw the state of my neighbours boy when a U-turnee smashed him and his motorbike into a broken pile of parts and limbs.

This should be done a long time ago safety for the drives and everyone.

I have seen many accidents and near misses on this stretch of road. I agree action is well overdue

Despite the temporary yellow 'no u turns' signs if the traffic has backed up, I have seen people still do a U turn despite the risk.
