I definitely agree with the need for a barrier here. So glad you still have your grandparents and well done

I travel this road every year going to Cornwall on holiday and agree that it certainly isn't a safe road.

I have driven this road and it certainly needs barriers.

This is a very dangerous road
Why should innocent peoples' lives be wrecked by drivers who take risks here.
A central barrier would sort this out

People are in their own worlds and don't always foresee dangers. A central reservation would make a big difference. You see cars turning around all the time, between Camborne and St. Erth.

I think this is a great idea, to many people have died on that road due to morons doing U-turns. It's about time something is done, instead of the pathetic "no u-turn" signs.

This bit of road is so dangerous , we travel this road regularly and see cars doing u turns or still passing cars because they can't pull back in

The other problem here is excessive speed. I'm not a great fan of traffic cameras but this is surely a case where a couple should be installed.

This needs to be done I have witnessed a lot of people doing a U-Turn on this road, and have seen far to many near misses.

Time for action please, what a waste of life of 2 lovely people - how many more will die before anything is done?

I know of a motorcyclist who hit a van that was turning around on this road. He is lucky to be alive, but badly injured which will be with him all his life.

I have also seen vehicles U-turning on this stretch of road, narrowly avoiding a collision myself.

I use to live in St Ives as a kid and I think it's a great idea. I back it 100%.

A similar thing happened to my friend on this road, I believe the road is dangerous without a barrier.

We come to Hayle/St Ives at least twice a year & have seen people doing u turns on a very busy stretch of the A30. A central barrier would stop this happening!
