Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

Good work with this. Scary stretch of road - closing speeds of 140mph is an horrendous thought . I rarely venture into the outside lane

I so hope this gets the result that is needed, safer road and no more accidents. My thoughts go out to your poor grandparents too, may they recover from this as much as possible, as soon as possible.

This road needs to be made safer. The "no u turns" signs are not effective.

How many more deaths and life changing injuries before barriers are put in place. Only way to stop u turns as unfortunately there will always be selfish morons who don't care and as per FB comments think it's amusing!!

This is a very dangerous road design and I always hate it when I have to drive there.

Every best wish to the Hearnes. It has always been 'iffy' with impatient drivers taking stupid chances, so I heartily agree with this petition - God willing someone LISTENS & ACTS to make the bypass safe for all .....

Before someone else is killed

Seen so many accidents on this road, as well as a friend killed on it too. It's just stupid!

Unbelievable that people are still doing u turns on this road. This needs to stop before more fatalities happen.

Council Get your finger out and put in barriers . Stop sitting on the fence Lives are at risk here

I fully support central barriers. The cost of road accidents always far outweighs the cost of simple remedies. Get on with it Cornwall Council.

This part of the A30 is getting so dangerous, the amount of cars doing u turns in slow traffic is now unacceptable

I have also witnessed u turns and more unbeleivably witnessed drivers overtaking 2 lanes of stationary traffic on the wrong side of the road near brow of hill and bind bends...
