Save Lives: Central Reservation Barrier for Hayle Bypass!!

Road widening and central barriers or something to actually stop cars crossing u turning are the only way.

This 3 lane foad should have been built as a duel-carriageway from the start! The middle lane in three lane roads have always been known as 'The Suicide Lane' , which allows overtaking in both directions . Madness !!! Let alone the suicidal U turns. There have been too many deaths on this road already.

I've seen 3 accidents there in last fortnight. unfortunately there are too many cars on the road full stop

Seen too many people try u turns on this road, something needs to be done so horrific accidents are avoided.

It is much-needed as people seem to break the rules of the road because of impatience .

My family has been personally impacted by U-turning on this road; This was an impact that could of resulted in death.

I have been sending photos of U TURNS to police they have given me replies but they said the council needs to be contacted as well. Do the work by night would be better.

I hope the council are listening to the public voice and do the right thing.

Absolutly agree. I work in Hayle and had one of my employees involved in a crash where we almost lost him because of someone U-Turning. Something needs to be done and fast. How many lives need to be taken before the council gets involved.

Sadly a reflection on what was originally a big mistake in not making the whole section a dual carriageway with barriers ... time for the folks in charge (regrettably not many willing to accept the challenge these days) to man up and spend the money to sort it our !!!

People doing u-turns on this stretch of road need to be stopped, or more accidents will occur.

This should have been done over the winter following last years horrific incidents caused by idiots doing u turns! No amount of signs is good enough- they are being ignored. It isnt just tourists either, i have seen several pics posted on fb of business vehicle's doing u turns also! How many more need to die or be injured before this issue is addressed???
