Please stop stupid people from driving

2 way carriageway against single carriage way are ALWAYS killers. You need to separate the traffic going in each direction. That is before idiots start to doing U turns or overtaking on solid white lines or all the other stupid things they do.

I have already signed a petition for this and posted a photo I took of a woman driving a minibus full of disabled people OVERTAKING on double white lines into oncoming traffic.... it is still playing on my mind... it was disgusting driving... Something has to be done and SOON.

There shouldn't be a need for this petition. Cornwall Council should have done this years ago. Dual carriageways without central crash barriers are no longer built and any built long enough ago that they lack should be upgraded as a matter of routine. Hayle bypass is an incredibly dangerous, fast stretch of road. There's a 60mph limit but people routinely exceed that, they overtake inappropriately and, despite publicity, u-turns are still happening because I've witnessed them. This, inevitably, gets exponentially worse in the summer months as holiday traffic increases. So come on Cornwall Council, let's have some action here to bring this road into the 21st century before anyone else life is devastated like this poor young woman's grandparents.

Definitely needs doing...I work very close to this road and hear the sirens etc everytime there is an accident

A central reservation will end these dangerous U turns. How many more accidents do we see before this is taken seriously. It needs to be put in place as a priority.

I use this road twice a day whilst travelling to work, I see near misses and close calls nearly every week, this is a must to prevent more lives being needlessly ruined.
