I feel that the rail on the bridge should be taller or somehow safer. Let's not have another tragedy like Elias.

Please make our high school kids be safe when walking thu this wash by making changes at the wash

This is truly a tragic accident and what happened to Elias has touched the heart of so many people.I feel like to prevent from this ever happening again we have to come together and make this a more safer community which brings me to signing this petition.

It's my hope in signing this petition that strict and necessary safety measures and features will be established, preventing the terrible accident that claimed the young life of Elias Rodriguez from happening again. We love you lil one

I used to cross this wash as well when I was a student at sf junior high going home sometimes. Problem is that there is only a very few streets that allow passage across the wash going either way that students will take chances to take a short cut going to school or going home. Pedestrian bridges between large thoroughfares would help a lot of students and prevent other such tragedies.

We can not let another tragic accident happen like this. Please make our bridges and washes safer.
