This is truly a tragic accident and what happened to Elias has touched the heart of so many people.I feel like to prevent from this ever happening again we have to come together and make this a more safer community which brings me to signing this petition.

I used to cross this wash as well when I was a student at sf junior high going home sometimes. Problem is that there is only a very few streets that allow passage across the wash going either way that students will take chances to take a short cut going to school or going home. Pedestrian bridges between large thoroughfares would help a lot of students and prevent other such tragedies.
