The Borough Council want to reallocate and reduce the amount spent on Children's Centres in Southend for 2012 and within that process, they propose to withdraw their support of the vital community resource for families and children that is Little Treasures in Westborough by July 2012. We, the undersigned, are concerned residents and urge our council leaders to agree to retain the excellent facilities provided by the Little Treasures SureStart Children's Centre in Electric Avenue and not to withdraw the funding towards this vital service for local families.
