Another Gas Station is not needed. Support small businesses. Linda's Cafe should not be closed and building torn down.

To whom it may concern:
As a resident of St. Mary’s county, I strongly oppose the plan to bring a Royal Farms to Lexington Park, MD.
The addition of Royal Farms would bring no benefit to the area, which is already well serviced by a Wawa off of Route 235, a Shell gas station at the corner of Pegg road, and multiple other convenient stores in the area.
This plan and establishment would also take away from the local businesses that are already serving the area of Lexington Park. The legacy and loyalty these places have offered to the community, notably Linda’s Cafe, should be prized and the support of the government should be first shown to them.
I implore the county officials to think first of its residents and support small business owners, and not move forward with CSP21-0176.
Thank you for incorporating my comments to oppose. V/R

SMC does not need another gas station/quick mart/fast food establishment. Traffic is bad now--we don't need anything to add it it.

Last thing this county needs is another gas station. If deadset on a gas station, put it further south in Ridge.

Please do not take away Linda’s to replace it with another gas station. Find another spot to put your gas station!

In addition to wanting to keep a historic building intact, I’m concerned about traffic that would be created by having a gas station placed at this location. With such short distance from the corner lot to the base gate 2, a gas station will cause additional traffic delays and issues to that intersection.

Building yet ANOTHER gas station will bring down the value of the town and increase crime and cause more traffic so with that being said i as a homeowner in the immediate area being affected vote NO for building a gas station!

We can't lose Linda's! It's a St. Mary's County gem! We ate there the day we got the news that we were shutting down for Covid, and we ate there the first day everything opened back up! Linda's grits and coffee have gotten me through some tough times! Can't imagine this county without it!
