There are plenty of gas and convenience store locations nearby. No need to put small
Business out of business in order to accommodate another large business. City zoning and planning should accommodate legacy-term small
Businesses, especially after serving as a business since Pandemic.

As a long time county resident I would like to see us spend more effort in supporting small businesses as opposed to more chain stores that we already have enough of.

There are plenty of gas stations. SMB needs entertainment. These businesses are loved by locals

There are so few small mom and pop businesses remaining that have survived COVID. It’s tragic that the country is actually considering shuttering a couple of them in order to bring in another gas station and convenience store. That intersection at Gate 2 is already a disaster, the traffic flow that a Royal Farms would add woods make it unbearable. We really don’t need another gas station. We do, however need more mom and pop small businesses.

Linda’s has so much history and is one of many valuable small businesses in southern maryland. With multiple sheetz and wawas between California and Lexington Park area there is no need to take away small businesses for the sake of another chain.
