Shame!!! Is there no loyalty left in the United States? Do we ALL have to succumb to the demands of big money and corporations?? I would MUCH rather give my money to someone like Lil Bill and his father than some corporation. This is just plain SAD and depressing. Shame on you USC!!!

Although I've never used Lil Bill's bike shop, I always pass by it on my way to school. It is entirely unfair and disgusting that USC would consider throwing away a 40 year friendship with someone, a small business, who calls USC their home. Please reconsider abandoning this partnership with Lil Bill.

Wish they'd of put a stipulation in the contract that he could stay!

I understand the need for progress; however, this is doing a disservice to Lil Bill & students alike. A more expensive bike shop benefits no one.

This is the by-product of gentrification and greed. The little guy or girl always ends up suffering. This shouldn't be happening but unfortunately, thousands more will be screwed just like Lil Bill. It's disgraceful.

I cant ride a bike, I live in the valley and I'd still rather to my sisters bike to Lil Bill just to prove a point. Save his world and make room for him. There is enough business to go around. There was no forethought of the community when you signed a contract for the building of a "village". A village denotes intimacy and relationship it sounds like that's all going down the drain.

If the new bike shop was smart, they would have this guy as part of their team and promote it as such and take care of him.
