Let there be a free market. Keep lil bill and see which the customers choose. USC should show some loyalty and support for the community. I am an alumna!

As a Trojan I am HIGHLY disappointed in this move. USC talks of community and doing something for this man who has served us for over 40 years should be a priority.

It is important that we teach our children a sense of loyalty to our community and those who have been there for them throughout the years. Don't do this to this man that means so much to them.

I grew up right down the street,Vermont 56th,we'd ride our bikes down to the shop. It's been a fixture in the neighborhood. This is an important business, more than just a fly by night burger joint. In my opinion,"if it ain't broke don't fix it."

Support Community Businesses - in whatever form they take. They don't always have the resources to carry a loan for lots of merchandise. But they do always provide customized, culturally appropriate service. There's value in community.

Save Lil Bill's Bike Shop. He's been an institution for 40 years and should remain part of USC's family!

Students WANT him to stay. We think your new contract is unethical. Lil Bill should be able to compete.

Let them know that the new bike shop will be boycotted. How do you invite a man to move his business onto your property, then sell him out?

I'm tired of seeing the little guy get pushed around by big money and greed. It's just not fair to the small business or the students, who will undoubtedly pay more at the new shop. I'm an Ohio State Buckeye, but I'm also an entrepreneur and a minority, so I understand and empathize. USC should be ashamed for letting this happen. They make enough money without the proposed new bike shop.

I met Bill during my first year at USC and he is such a kind man. He helped me out with my bike so many times and even with the tires on my car once. He has a huge heart and doesn't deserve this. Why get rid of him when competition is part of capitalism? Let him stay and give students the option to pick which bike shop to service them. Not all students are wealthy or have wealthy parents, so give us the option between someone who cares about us and someone who may not and may have ridiculous prices. He doesn't deserve this and neither do USC students.
