Don't ruin this beach there's some history associated with this beach and the casino that used to be here plus the Daiquiri Deck is located a mile away the st. Armands Circle

Please keep Florida Beaches PUBLIC. I came from NJ where you are charged to walk on the beach, to park. Its all about money.

Love this spot just the way it is. Don’t make it like the rest of Sarasota. Love the little stand for lobster rolls etc. a very special spot sad to change

Keep Lido Brach the lovely laid back beach that residents love. We don’t need another Ritz Carlton type of venue. There are enough already for the wealthy! Captainden@aol Com

Improve the footprint that is there if you must, but adding private cabanas while taking away parking services only a specific type of elite going beach person and erodes so much of what makes this special. The hotels are perfectly capable of having private cabana facilities - tax them if you need a revenue share. Don't take away what makes Lido Beach an incredibly special place for ALL.

Grew up in Sarasota in the 50's and 60"s and have seen public beach access reduced over the years. It needs to stop NOW! Beaches should be accessible to ALL Sarasotans, not just the privileged minority. Turn back the clock when the county cared about all residents.

Year round residents, tourists and seasonal people CAN co-exist. Please consider the need for "everyday" people to be able to enjoy the beauty and joy of Lido beach, along with those who CAN afford private facilities. Some times, "improvements" just aren't, and this is one of those cases.

Spending public money for a public beach, keeping it public, is more important than $21M for a golf course few people use. Hotel guests have reciprocal agreements or want to play at private clubs and will not be the answer to funding problems.

Please leave the pavilion as is...we need all the parking for families and couples to come enjoy the public beach... Plenty of already existing restaurants I the circle to grab a bite to eat.

What you are proposing is outrageous! Why does so much of our cultural and public facilities have to be torn down and commercialized? Why do the rich always be the benefactors? This is wrong! STOP!!!

Tax payers want to keep their quality public spaces. It shouldn't be negotiable. We need fewer "Daiquiri Decks" and more public family oriented spaces.

I oppose this new lido beach pavilion! It is extremely intrusive!

Privatization of our "Public" beach will take all the appeal out of our Lido pavilion & turn it into just another over priced hotdog stand.

Keep Lido Beach public. Remodel the existing pavilion and restrooms, they are disgusting. For such a tourist attraction the pavilion should be MUCH nicer.
