This is absolutely ridiculous. Locals can not even get onto Lido until it is not season anymore. Stop this madness, we want our beach and are not sharing with corporate America

Improvements are not necessarily improvements. Retain the usability of Lido Beach pavilion for ALL Sarasota residents, the purpose of public land/space, and retain Lido’s character, as well.

i think privatizing the pavillion and all amenities included with it is a terrible idea for the residents of Lido and Sarasota. This will also, effect local businesses, due to the lack of parking (which is already an issue) on the key.

The 2 names you mention are also partners in their own law firm - Syprett Meshad. One thing Sarasota does not need is another Daquiri Deck, which is a drunk tank to begin with and also has lousy food. They are an eyesore on St Armand's already.

Reasons like this is why we need to find politicians that will protect our local community/voters! Who's pocket is getting lined to do this. I was born here and until the population boom in Sarasota no one cared because no one could make a ton of money!!
