Lido has always been my favorite beach for many reasons but, one of the main reasons is easy access. I do not want it to become another Siesta Key with its inadequate parking. The current plan for the Pavillion guarantees this. The City Comission needs to do the right thing and keep our public beaches accessible to ALL citizens.

this is unacceptable. First they have given away our public beaches to private owners and now they want to destroy one if the best rated beaches in the world and sell it to the highest bidder. The local tax paying, and voting, public deserves some public use beaches

Totally against pavilion changes. On weekends and holidays there is already a shortage of parking. Lido is for everyone, not just the rich

We live a short walk from the Pavilion and are completely against the Lido Pavilion proposal. Traffic is a major headache as is and nothing in the plan addresses the traffic issue. The neighborhoods will be impacted by the noise of bands, party goers, and again, the traffic well into the evening, destroying the quiet, less traveled ambiance of Lido Key. Progress is inevitable, no one denys that, however, why not at salvage at least one refuge from rampant tourism, etc.
Are we striving for Ft. Lauderdale, Pa;m Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach? Or an "Old Florida" family oriented oasis called Lido Beach?

Our family have been coming to Lido beach for over 20 years. The parking is limited even for the beach goers. If there is restaurant competition parking at Lido, there will be no parking for the beach patrons. Please say no to the new restaurant at Lido Brach, just improve the existing snack bar and pool area. Very nice pool and the only one in the area if you do not want to get in the ocean.

Lido Pavilion must be preserved as it is! This is an incredible resource for the hard working families of the Sarasota area, for tourists, & is a resource which I am proud of. I’m fortunate to be a part-time resident of Lido Key for the past 38 years. It’s unfair, & both morally and ethically wrong to allow private parties to take over our pavilion in order for them to profit! Lido Pavilion should continue to be maintained as is! Do not cater to those who are greedy-to those who want to take over our beloved Lido Pavilion for their own profit and gain. Do the right thing City of Sarasota! You owe it to the hard-working people of Sarasota, the neighboring areas, to the tourists, please.

Transforming Lido Pavilion to line the pockets of a few is a crime. We do not need another late night tiki bar or destination restaurant. We need to maintain our family friendly atmosphere. Lido Pavilion is a quick get-away for many locals. When friends and family are in town, we head to Lido Pavilion. It is a favorite place for family to enjoy our beautiful beaches. Another late night restaurant and bar on the beach will deter residents and visitors from the area.

This is one of the best places to break from the beach for some great food and chilling out for a break from the sun when out at lido for a while. There are plenty of hotels already, let's remember to save a place for the locals.
