Don’t want this on Lido. The pavilion is great, add a bar parking will be horrible.

We have been coming to Lido ONLY because of its unique COMMUNITY atmosphere. A commercially based venture replacing the pavillion would ruin the one differentiating feature that makes Lido the place to be.

It would be sad to replace a family destination beach and pavilion with yet another overpriced, crowded Sarasota restaurant. And a tiki bar? Come on! Just what Sarasota needs—ANOTHER bar. Noise. Crowds. DUIs. Family friendly? Not! And once done, none of this plan can be UN-done!

Do not privatize this facility. That would be an abuse of power.

Our favorite beach for our grandkids could be ruined by this change. Beaches are a very limited commodity and must be protected like an endangered species might be. Retain the character of Lido, please!

Seriously? Do we want to take away the "Public Good" the Lido Pavillion has long offered the community just so a couple developers can profit from their own private enterprise? Using public space for a private enterprise is wrong. I urge the City Commission to maintain the PUBLIC nature and functionality of this special and historical locale.

Don't give the beach away to private interests. $100 a day to sit in a cabana? No thanks. Sounds like a 60's private beach club in Long Island.

Lido Beach is lovely and open to all of us. Keep it the way it is. Furthermore, sea turtles are already suffering from too much unnatural light. The last thing they need is a tiki bar open at night. How will cabanas affect nests?

We have owned a family home on Lido Beach for almost 40 years and consider the Lido Pavilion as a relaxed, family-friendly, low key treasure in a town that keeps being more and more over-developed. Please keep our beautiful Lido Beach landmark untouched.
