I pick up trash off this beach often, and the concession stand is a nice place to stop afterwards. The project could also produce more plastic waste, since the people who would own it have other establishments that heavily rely on single use plastic. The current restaurant uses a lot of paper products instead, which biodegrades. The proposed plan also shows where they would remove a section of the dunes with a lot of foliage, which would leave the island more susceptible to storm damage, and remove a habitat for small wildlife.

Why can't they just let us enjoy what's there ,,,rich people always want more ,,look at how long its been there its a land mark leave it there and just us enjoy it

Please keep our historic Lido Pavillion. Lido Beach has been a haven for me and my family since 1977 and it has always been a lovely place, we do not need a commercial restaurant and tiki bar that will only disrupt the quiet beach vibe at Lido, it will become very noisy, traffic will be bad . Keep our Lido Pavillion free for all our families to enjoy!

And please make rest rooms walker and wheelchair friendly; a ramp so steep one has to grab the railing to pull self up ot keep from racing down is NOT friendly, is not even safe.

Please help us keep our public beach bathrooms, pavilion, pool and parking PUBLIC that everyone will be able to use. Ask your Commissioners to Vote “No” on major conditional use to allow takeover of 2.45 acres of Lido Beach Pavilion, Pool and Parking as private sit down restaurant and Tiki Bar.

It's bad enough the old Lido Casino came down - big mistake for Lido. At least keep our public beaches public!
