I own a condo at Lido Harbour South and I oppose this development plan for Lido Pavillion

Save the pavilion please !!!!

This is not a good deal for people who just want to enjoy the beach and it’s natural beauty. Let’s not ruin it. Transparency is needed for this kind of deal

Keep the whole pavilion open to the public.

Maya up Jack trans concerns and comments have all been previously submitted to all of the commissioners via email. I am against the privatization of this public facility in any form, And specifically against the proposal that has been put forth and the lease that has been approved.

Keep the Pavilion as is and protect the Public from developing and selling out . The beach is for all citizens and just another restaurant. Shame on you, City of Sarasota !

I am against the city making money off a public park by signing a 30 yr lease with anyone

I am adamantly opposed to the plan which will change the character of our beach and our neighborhood. This is a sweetheart deal meant to line the pockets of people who are already wealthy, and to make our free and laid back beach into a hot spot. I think the plan needs to be scaled way back. Reasonably priced cabanas, that a family can afford...okay, a tiki bar, sure, a playground for kids, great, but a 200 seat restaurant with a liquor license! Absolutely not. You already destroyed the character of the beach when you tore down the casino. Fix the pavilion and leave our neighborhood alone!!!

This is a bad deal and stinks of corruption. Please do not approve.

Do not want any late night bar and/or private facilities and monopolized parking.

This is a blatant give-away of a irreplaceable public resource with little to no consideration over the impact on the neighborhood and parking. Shame on the city for allowing this to go this far.

Please -no to government use, major conditional use and site plan changes to Lido Beach Pavilion. It needs to stay a public beach facility.

I lived on Lido for 24 years and it was the REAL Joy of home ownership ! Being able to get to the beach and introduce it to many friends and guests inured their love for Sarasota and their return often to Lido ! This ‘selfish move’ by those seeking personal gain is going to destroy one of the greatest attractions to Sarasota.... not to even mention the ‘already massive traffic problem’! What can we do other than vote the commissioners OUT of office... that will be too late!!!

I live directly across the street from the Pavilion. I am totally against the proposed changes as they will negatively affect my quality of life as a resident of Lido Key, as well as the quality of life for all other residents of Lido.

SAVE the PAVILION!!! at all cost no commercial development
