Dear Football League,
As you are aware, Massimo Cellino has submitted documentation to take over Leeds United. All Leeds United fans have genuine concerns about this man and his companies suitability to purchase and run Leeds United.
We would appreciate your full and diligent attention to his character and previous alleged actions in Italy as we feel this could bring his suitability to run a club within the football league into question.
We would also like you to consider the precedence this takeover could set if it is agreed and authorised by the football league
Please accept this as my petition for you to do the right thing for Leeds United and ultimately the right thing for English Football.
