Let's not have the church become like the Taliban or ISIS, tearing down monuments which were once revered simply because we currently do not concur with our modern interpretation of their intention. Keep these windows! For those who will see, they are lessons in faith and courage as well as the futility of war.,

To purge historic monuments and deface structures just for the sake of political correctness is wrong and is reminissant of such purges seen in Europe by the Nazis during the 1940's and the Communist in Russia as well as the Chineese Communist 1950's and 1960's . I am an Episcopalian and I am Opposed to the alterations to the National Cathedral in Washington , DC which include the removal and destruction of the Stain Glass Windows which include the images of General R .E. Lee and General Thomas J . Jackson .
