This should be the last petition signed to save our Confederate monuments they are all the same, with the same grave importance to American freedom and how she honors her brave dead.

Removal of these windows only serves to divide the Country more , and this is coming from a man of God?

Idle hands is the devil's workshop. Time needs to be spent constructive, instead of destructive! Leave our southern heritage alone!!

As the petition notes, these windows were a gesture of reconciliation and represent the heritage of a large portion of the American population. Removing them would be a great insult to millions whose ancestors fought for the Confederacy. Please leave the Lee and Jackson windows in place, and honor all Americans, as is your charter.

Why are we so obsessed with removing everything that has any association with something negative? Let us move on and heal instead of reopening old wounds and creating new ones.

There should be room for all in God's House. Lee and Jackson were both very religious men, to turn your back on their belief in God, only shows the short sided views put forth by a vengeful few. These are the same people that will be demanding that you remove the crosses from churches next, since they offend that same vengeful few.

Keep the stained glass. Obviously the idea to remove them is too silly to even contemplate; it's our history and not open to interpretation, childish moodiness, or individual whims. Seems to me there are more than enough "real" issues for the state media to investigate at the present moment: IRS scandal, Benghazi deaths, murderous Planned Parenthood, traitorous Iran deal, SGT. Berghdal/White House treason, etc.

Why are y'all trying to destroy our heritage? The removal of the windows has a historical artifact would be like burning the Mona Lisa! Why do you feel the need to attack and destroy American history and a the southern people? You should be ashamed for trying to purge smerica of everything southern! Leave out heritage alone!!!!! You are causing more hate then you are preventing by attacking us

Why let a bunch of cry babies dictate what happens to these beautiful windows... Why r they wanting to remove all things that have to do with history... I just don't understand why a bunch of whinney cry babies r jus now saying it offends them...well u know what the fact that they want to rewrite history an act like none of this has happened offends me...if they r taking away our history then every street that was named after Martin Luther King Jr.needs to be changed to something else an the statue that they put up of him needs to b removed... I'm jus sick of everyone giving in to these cry babies an letting them have thier way....
