I am the great great grandson of a Union Veteran. I am disgusted with these attacks on my country men's from the former Confederate States history and heritage what was done to General Nathan Bedford Forrest and wife's resting place was ghoulish and deeply disturbing .

Destruction of art and relics of historical significance is barbaric. Has the Union remained the same for nearly two centuries? These actions prove what Southerners always knew about the Union.

Congress recognizes Confederate soliders as Americans, we should too.

The two sides were reconciled. Let them test in peace.

Please leave these beautiful windows alone. General Lee himself was against secession and war. He was just a man faced with a tough decision to make. I respect him as a West Point graduate (2nd in his class with no demerits), former superintendent at West Point, Mexican-American war veteran, civil war veteran and was granted U.S. Citizenship in 1975 by the United States Congress. Lee's mother taught him to have faith in God. I support our American history.

History will not change by removing these beautiful pieces of art. Leawe these where they stand. To remove these demonstrates discrimination.

This campaign of unnecessary whitewashing has gone way too far. It's actually beginning to sound and look stupid and unfounded.

'All' military memorials should stay intact! They are' in memory' of those who fought for our freedom! Lest we forget! These are symbols of our freedom! Anyone who claims to be offended, can look the other way, or get out of the USA! We the people have to look the other way, so can they! This is 'our country, if you don't like it, please leave!

Political "correctness" is out of control. Trying to hide and rewrite our history is wrong.

removing these windows is removing reconciliation and removing togetherness, it's an act showing that we aren't welcome because of a misunderstanding of history..... Lee and Jackson were far from racist, they didn't even have slaves while generals Sherman and Grant did, this shit has got to stop!!!!! Do you people want another civil war???? That's what it's leading to, pretty saying we aren't welcome among you..... I don't wanna be part of this nation if my heritage is not welcome

These men were real heroes who loved and served their country and their God. They belong in this Cathedral. Please keep them there.
