The people who fought the war and suffered through the consequences were able to reconcile but the perpetually offended, fragile souls that must remain victims over 150 years later require history to be rewritten. The reconciliation between north and south was one of the most unique and admirable results of any civil war in history.

These widows were created and placed there in respect. Now one comes along who knew not the love and honor of the south nor the agony of the war and chooses to disregard history and replace it with his own view of life. Such a shame. He wants to be proud of his decision to whitewash history.
