Ahhhhh! Why! Why are we constantly having to fight to keep our services?!?!!! We need these services! It’s not fair to assume everyone can get to Plymouth when injured. I can’t believe anyone thinks it’s a good idea to shut any hospital or minor injuries unit.

No public transportation to get to alternative locations, half hour drive away at least, absolutely essential to have as it serves this town and surrounding villages and hamlets. Who decides our health is less important than others?

A lot of residents in Launceston without their own transport now lose out on minor care, at the start of the summer holidays

I recently had to stitch a wound in my hand myself as there were no staff available at Launceston. The outcome may be very different for a young or vulnerable person. Without this critical local healthcare service. Please ensure this is reopened without delay.

With the major hospitals at breaking point why close a more rural MIU? If there are staffing issues then draft in from somewhere else rather than sending Launceston staff elsewhere. Not rocket science to work out with so many more homes plus the increase at present due to it being the holiday season the timing seems complete bizarre.

Do not close down our hospitals we have to travel over an hour - that’s too long people die in that time !
