This is a vital service to the area especially as there are a lot of elderly people in the area without access to transport.

The minor injuries unit is vital to the people of Launceston, with access to the Medical centre severely restricted not having the unit will leave a dangerous gap in medical services to local people

Who is in charge of this mess? We need this facility OPEN, do we need to make a peaceful protest before Scott Mann and this TORY government stop us even able to do that? Many nurses and doctors were from the EU. and have given up on the UK. Then with Covid to add to the mess that has transpired. Agree it takes 3 years to train a nurse, so after the 2016 vote to leave, we should have loads all trained by now!

Launceston desperately needs the MIU at their Community Hospital. There are more and more houses being built and less and less medical facilities available. The sudden and unexplained closure of this unit at the start of the school holidays for over 2 months shows complete lack of respect or regard for the wellbeing of the residents of Launceston and the surrounding area.
