Launceston MIU needs to re-open with immediate effect. There are those without transport to get anywhere else. It is so wrong that our staff have had to relocate elsewhere.

I would love launceston ane to stay open I remember years ago was so helpful for launceston as struggle for pupil transport

I think MIU should remain open as Launceston is at least 50 mins away from Derriford A & E ( Longer with ongoing bridge works) and Liskeard is staying open & that MIU is much closer to Derriford

Town growing fast extra housing . Just made surgery bigger and looking as if want to close Launceston hospital. Hopefully can sort out this problem Launceston hospital are having .

This is a much needed resource, over the years a lot has been taken away from this community, not everyone can afford or has access to a vehicle to travel to the next minor injuries unit or Derriford.

I am very concerned about the closure of this unit, I am unable to drive and would be at the mercy of the lack of public transport if my children or I required treatment. Also is this the thin edge of the wedge? What next? Complete closure of our local hospital? This is a vital service for our town and surrounding areas and therefore extremely important that it is reinstated as soon as possible.

Horrified that Launceston and surrounding areas are going to be left so vulnerable without the MIU ….. this closure will put more pressure on NHS services in North Cornwall.
