Stop closing hospital units as they are there for a reason! NHS we pay for it, it should not be about money it should be about people and there quality of life and saving lives. Not everyone has transport so the more you close the further people have to go and the more lives are put at risk. We are no longer in the EU so use some of that money to bring the NHS service back up to what it should be! Available locally for all

Where are local people meant to go? What are our taxes paying for, if not local services such as this? What is the MP doing, or are they in BUPA?

To close this unit would increase the pressure on our hospitals with catastrophic consequences. Please don’t close the MIU in Launceston!

I have had to use this unit twice this year and found the staff extremely professional and caring, it would be a great loss if it closed.

This is a vital service for the Launceston community. One that I have used several times over the years - either for my children or myself. It is needed here as many people don't have their own transport to get to other towns.

We are encouraged not to attend EDs and use MIU - how can we when you close them. The location of Launceston in comparison to our nearest MIU plus transport makes impossible a lot of locals to use them even though they are in need of treatment.
