This would be a perfect addition to Heritage Park. Would allow the expansion of walking and biking trails and preserve another piece of Perry’s natural beauty

A great opportunity to keep that small town character and appeal that we love about Perry versus taking every open space and turning it into a residential housing footprint.

Ga Hwy 341 and Airport Road is very busy now at times. Jack Linz, 160 new homes coming to Houston Springs and 500 new homes to be built by Houston Homes will increase traffic at this intersection by at least 130 percent over today’s columns. More development (especially townhomes) will make this a real bottleneck.

There are currently over 300 homes in Houston Springs wit about 120 more scheduled to be built. The Hughstom Homes portion of Houston Springs plans to build in excess of 500. With the majority of vehicles exiting on Airport Road, we really don’t need townhomes adding to the traffic problem we anticipate.

COP please consider making the 19.5 acre tract a part of Heritage Oaks Park on Hwy341 and Airport Rd. With development pending, a green park is just what this area needs; preserve the wetlands and a wildlife corridor to Big Indian Creek. Thank you

Town houses do not compliment this neighborhood. A park would be an excellent idea and a great service to our community.
