It's wonderful to have this outfit in Livermore where we can get help, advise and try out the equipment before renting. Sunrise is a local gem and a bedrock of the community. Switching from a reputable, Tri-Valley based company to another company with fewer ties to the immediate community is not a sensible option. Save the Sunrise shack!

I often enjoy renting kayaks from Sunrise on my church groups annual kayak day, and other random occasions. They are always professional and courteous. Please award them the Water Sports Rental Concession at lake Del Valle for 2014 and the future.

Sunrise Mountain Sports got me started on kayaking at the Lake Del Valle Kayak Center - and I love it since. The classes offered and the highly motivated staff made me enjoy the great outdoors in a different way.

My husband and I live in Livermore and love having Lake Del Valle available to us. We have used the Kayak Center, operated by Sunrise Mountain Sports, dozens of times. And have introduced kayaking to friends and relatives who don't own their own kayaks. Sunrise has a wonderful selection of equipment, very helpful staff, and always shows concern for our safety and fitting the right equipment to the level of paddler. Why on earth would you wanted to change what's working and good?
