Sunrise Mountain Sports has provided consistent cusutomer service Afro many years at the park . I have rented kayaks as well as Bought my personal kayak from a their store. The owner', staff and employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Thiese are the kind oaf people you want operating a concession '. I hope you reconsider and continue to conduct business with Sunrise Mountain Sports' this company is good for business and always providing great customer service. It is always a great experience to have knowledgeable and competent people who operate in our parks,.

Perhaps I am not privy to all the facts in this case with the Del Valle Kayak Center. As an outdoor enthusiast and avid paddler, I have supported the Grandfield brothers at Sunrise Mtn Sports for many years as a semi-regular customer. They have a respected family business based locally in Livermore, and seem to do what is best for their customers and the environment. I hope that the EBParks Board of Directors uses wise judgment in the awarding of the concession to operate the kayak center for the future benefit of all parties involved, especially with consideration of the satisfaction of the end users.

I always had an enjoyable time kayaking and the employees are always very helpful and nice!

Sunrise has been doing a fantastic job. Why in the world would a change be considered. This sounds very underhanded. My who family and friends have used this faciity for so many years. Sunrise is a trusted, honest and staple company. We cannot lose them at Del Valle.

I see no reason to remove known local taxpaying based business, who has served the community very well. Stick with Sunrise Mountain Sports as the concessionaire.
